About Acorn Expeditions
Hey there.
That’s me. Hiking up a trail that I shouldn’t be wearing Birkenstocks for… but it is what it is.
I’m Brittney… and for the last decade or so, people have been trusting me to take them all over the world. What started out as a small collection of people traveling with me on my planned itineraries has turned into a large community of amazing humans that I have taken to over 30 countries and over 20 U.S. National Parks. The memories, at this point, are endless. The friendships are solid. And the future possibilities are limitless. I’m so excited that you’re here, reading this, and we have the potential to be a part of this growing group of travelers together.
Travel is in my bones. Adventuring is second nature and I desire it on every level. I am, in theory, an extrovert. And I tend to attract many introverts who want to make friends, see the world, and have adventures BUT HOW?? Easy. You sign up for a trip. You toss money my way. You show up to the airport on the right day (and on time, please) and that’s it.
I do the rest.
I do all the planning. I do all the research. I do all the bookings. You literally have one job…
Just show up.
My itineraries are jam packed. I have never referred to any time off I have taken as a “vacation”… but everyone around me has called my travels simply a “Brittney Trip” and the name has stuck. When you go on a Brittney Trip, you know that everything is planned for you, and that you’re in for a ride.
You’ll do things you never thought you could.
You’ll climb mountains or tackle white water in a way you never thought possible.
You might drive from the top of a country all the way to the bottom, experiencing everything along the way.
You might find yourself cooking an egg on an active volcano.
Or witnessing tigers and rhinos in their natural habitat.
You might find yourself eating insects from a street market.
Or fighting off monkeys as they try to steal your sunglasses.
You might find yourself submerged in a spiritual culture that touches you on such a peaceful level, you won’t be able to describe it to anyone afterwards.
Or you might get splattered with a water balloon while celebrating local holidays on unknown streets.
You might live in an RV.
Or (my favorite) a yurt.
In any case, it’ll be an adventure to remember.
That is my greatest promise.
